Originally released on Telestic Records back in 2016 before Bandcamp terminated that account over a technicality (it was censorship, I explain more on The Simplicius Complex album liner notes). This album has a different vibe than previous Mythshifter albums. The songs are predominately made using Reason like much of my Xylen Roberts stuff post 2012 and most of the songs are of a shorter nature. A collection of experimental microtone heavy instrumentals that explore everything from drum and bass ('A Branch Swingin'...'), creepy hiphop ('As Drifting Leaves...'), freak folk ('Mercury Retrograde Snowstorm Stomp'), house ('Dr. Polvo M.D.') and much more. Recorded 2015-2016. All songs Xylen Roberts except for 'Dr. Polvo M.D." which, as hinted at with the title, this song contains themes borrowed from two Polvo songs: 'Vibracobra' and 'In The Hand, In The Sieve', both off their great debut album Cor Crane Secret.
